Shweῇ by Blaise Sunjo Kfeban and Valentine Banfegha Ngalim is an interesting publication that takes the reader on a fascinating journey into the intricacies of African divination. With the use of the philosophical critical method of analysis, this book aims at examining divination from an Africentric perspective following the Nso approach as well as the extent to which knowledge from this practice can be true, tenable, reliable and certain. Although, there also exist quack diviners whose veracity can at times be diffi cult to determine, Shweῇ remains an indigenous epistemic method towards the acquisition of knowledge. This book is indeed a must-read!
